The Master Cat title can be achieved by winning 3 Open Classes, and the award of a certificate from 3 different judges. When this has been achieved, Coventry & Leicester Cat Club Members will receive their award medal and their cat will be able to be known as - 'Mastercat'

Titles for Non Pedigrees
'Master Cats' will then be eligible to enter the Ultimate Cat class that will only be held at Coventry & Leicester Show, and the awarding of the 2 certificates from 2 different judges means your cat has earned right to be known as 'Ultimate Cat'.
Lesley Szwed, Chairman, and long time champion of the non pedigree, designed the "Master Class" after much careful thought - a totally new concept which will run parallel to the certificates awarded to pedigree cats.
The Master Class certificate will be awarded again to winners of Opens at the 2008 show (Adult entries)
For the first time, the non-pedigree can compete on an equal footing with his pedigree friends.
Remember, this is not a Governing Council title, so your cat can only be know as 'Master Cat' or 'Ultimate Cat'.
